I tried on a designer wedding dress here in Ireland and seen the same dress (so they say) on this US website. Has anyone any experience in buying wedding dresses online?

So I paid around $350 for the same dress and in my opinion they did really great job! I don’t think this one vary so much from the original…I was waiting for my dress from 3-26-2011 (ordered it) to 5-3-2011 (received it). No !!, it is not safe to purchase anything from this company, I ordered a dress , payed through paypal, had confirmatoin from paypal that funds had left my account. That was the last ...See more thing I heard. I had no confirmation from sharonbridle to say they recieved my order, Doesn’t look like I will be getting the dress after all. Even though they have had my money….I have been intouch wihch paypal , who have sent sharonbridle an email but even paypal have had no respone from the company. Its five days now and the company still haven’t responded to either me or paypay…so what does that tell you about this company ….” buyer be ware ” !!!!! stay away thats the only advice I can give. Pease do not do what i have done. !!

It did take over 2 months to receive the dress. The workman ship was good on the dress, ...See more but the dress is not the original designer gown, it is a copy of it. The beading was nothing like the original. I requested a refund, as this was not the origanl dress which I expected to receive, as their site did not say it was an inspired or a copy of the dress. They did refund part of the money through paypal, but not all of it. It was about 1/2 of what I paid for it. I was disapointed in expecting a dress that was the same as the designer gown, however it is a nice dress, just not what I expected. Had it not been for the beading on the dress, It would have probably been just fine. But I will say it took quite a few emails and a few phone calls to paypal to resolve the issue. But they did in fairness, deliver the dress even though it took a lot longer than expected, and they did refund part of the cost of the dress because I wasnt satisfied with it.
