Raid Your Friends’ Closets

Raid Your Friends’ Closets Pick a day or two with your friends where you go through your own closets, decide what you don’t want anymore, and then shop each other’s closets. Maybe you’ve always loved something in your friend’s closet, or vice versa, and this is the perfect way to snag a little bit of each other’s style! This is one of my favorite ways to update your wardrobe, because you may finally be able to nab your friend’s dress you’ve been coveting for years!

Look for Sales

Look for Sales Especially as the holidays draw closer, the sales are just going to get better and better. Holiday sales are the perfect way to update your wardrobe with a less than stellar budget. Especially if you take advantage of Black Friday sales, you’d be amazed at the amazing pieces you can get for a fraction of the price!

DIY

DIY Thanks to the inception of YouTube Beauty Gurus and Pinterest, it’s easier than ever to find DIYs to completely change your wardrobe. There are tutorials on how to cut old jeans into perfect high-waisted shorts, old shirts into creations, and anything in between. You would be amazed at what you can learn from online tutorials!

Sell Your Unwanted Clothes

Sell Your Unwanted Clothes The Internet has done wonderful things for our wardrobes. There are tons of different websites and apps like Poshmark, Vinted, and Twice that will let you sell clothes, buy clothes, and sometimes even trade them. It’s the perfect option for the girl who wants designer clothes on a budget. You’ll find some of the trendiest brands for teens on these apps, and you’d be shocked at the variety!

Find Basics

Find Basics If you’re really looking for a whole new wardrobe, invest in the basics that you can wear almost everyday. Sure, it can be tempting to buy trendy statement pieces, but in the long run, it’s cheaper to buy basics that you’ll want to wear for at least a few years!

Invest in Accessories

Invest in Accessories Accessories can change an entire look. Whether you go for a hat, scarf, necklace, or somewhere in between, jewelry and other accessories are perfect to spice up old outfits. Especially as the weather gets colder, scarves and hats are the perfect way to stay warm while creating a whole new look!

7

Go Shopping Regularly

Go Shopping Regularly A lot of times, people save up their clothes shopping for the beginning of each new season. Stores know that, hence “back to school” and “end of summer” sales. However, the more regularly you shop, the less you’ll spend in one big shopping expenditure at the beginning of each season! It may seem counterproductive, but it will stop you from binge shopping in the long run!
