When you desire the incredible looks on the runway, but they are slightly out of your price range, turn to the incredible designer collaborations with Target. Coming from someone on a college student budget, these collections are fabulous yet super affordable. Some of the top names in the fashion world have created some great designer collaborations with Target, and while there are tons of designers to choose from, here are some of my personal favorites. ## 1. Prabal Gurung ![Prabal Gurung](https://resize.allw.mn/1028x0/filters:format(webp)/filters:quality(70)/content/2013/11/27111523_4948_600x900.jpg) It is not enough that I am obsessed with Prabal Gurung, but then he had to be one of the top designer collaborations with Target. He creates such feminine romantic clothing that make me want to fall in love in New York City in the spring. He put so much color into such an incredible collection. ## 2. Zac Posen ![Zac Posen](https://resize.allw.mn/1028x0/filters:format(webp)/filters:quality(70)/content/2013/11/27111541_4607_600x900.jpg) While Gurung was romantic, Zac Posen was not afraid to get a little flirty. Cute dresses with bold colors and patterns were a staple of this collection. This collection was for the girl who wanted to show that she was a bold lady. ## 3. Phillip Lim ![Phillip Lim](https://resize.allw.mn/1028x0/filters:format(webp)/filters:quality(70)/content/2013/11/27111559_0655_600x969.jpg) On the opposite side of the spectrum, Phillip Lim’s collaboration with Target has minimalist pieces in darker colors. From baby blue trousers to little black dresses, this collection is definitely simpler but still makes quite a statement. ## 4. He is by far one of my favorite designers. His collection is sophisticated with a preppy feel to it. I loved every part of his collection, from his adorable navy dresses to the perfect bowtie blouse. ## 5. It featured the classic striped Missoni print in a variety of pieces like sweaters, bikini tops, and skirts. The look book is something straight out of the '70s and I love it. ## 6. Jean Paul Gaultier ![Jean Paul Gaultier](https://resize.allw.mn/1028x0/filters:format(webp)/filters:quality(70)/content/2013/11/27111809_3263_600x901.jpg) Jean Paul Gaultier has always been known for this eccentric clothing and his use of that eccentric clothing created one of the best designer collaborations with Target. He incorporated a ton of patterns into this collection, like gingham and florals, but rather than looking feminine, he made them look edgy. He includes some incredible belted dresses and awesome jackets in this top notch collection. ## 7. Alexander McQueen ![Alexander McQueen](https://resize.allw.mn/1028x0/filters:format(webp)/filters:quality(70)/content/2013/11/27111833_7850_600x844.jpg) Alexander McQueen is by far one of the most famous and incredible designers to collaborate with Target. The black zigzag dress has been one of the most popular pieces but my personal favorite is the button up black skater dress. I wish this collection was still available at Target because I would love a second chance to swoop it all up. Target has always been one of my favorite stores, for everyday items and for fashion. These collections are just evidence of how incredible Target can be. These designers have not only created incredible lines, but they have allowed people on a budget to have a piece of high fashion in their closets.
