    While I do have a couple of maxi type skirts, being short (5',2"), maxi shirts only make me look shorter even if I wear heels. However, my favourite maxi skirt is actually very fitted & has very revealing high cut slits on both sides of the skirt & held together with 3 metal rings, just part of the design of the skirt. Instead of making me look short & fat, it makes me look taller & slimmer, even if I am not either. 😉😃 it might be interesting to try out #1 style though. Wearing a short skirt under a see through maxi skirt just might work for me.
