The top bloggers are well known for their distinct personal styles and fashion brands are quick to tap into this to sell their wares. While H&M is well known for its designer collaborations, in 2011 it teamed up with a fashion blogger for the very first time. The collection reflected Kling’s own minimalist style and was well received by fashion critics the world over.

Leandra Medine and Dannijo Leandra Medine founded the hugely popular The Man Repeller blog. Her tongue-in-cheek take on fashion made her an instant blogging sensation. She’s collaborated with several brands to date and one of the most popular was with jewellery label Dannijo. The collection featured plenty of colourful jewellery that reflected Medine’s quirky and offbeat fashion sense.

Natalie Suarez and Volcom Natalie Suarez of the blog Natalie Off Duty has teamed up twice now with streetwear brand Volcom. The model and blogger turned her hand at design and created some seriously cool clothing. She also starred in the campaign photographs which were, would you believe it, shot by her equally talented blogger sister Dylana.

Chiara Ferragni and Steve Madden Chiara Ferragni, of the popular blog The Blonde Salad, recently collaborated with Steve Madden to create a line of shoes for the brand. This is the third shoe collection for the blogger but the first in collaboration with cult brand Steve Madden. The collection features a range of on-trend shoes from leopard print slip-ons to killer cut-out heels.

Aimee Song and ELUXE

Aimee Song and ELUXE Aimee Song, blogger at Song of Style, teamed up with Canadian e-tailer eLUXE to design a range of simple t-shirts and sweatshirts. The t-shirts and sweatshirts featured slogans and sayings based on Song’s signature style. The collection reflected Song’s playful dress sense perfectly.

Tommy Ton and Club Monaco

Tommy Ton and Club Monaco Street style photographer Tommy Ton, who runs the popular Jak & Jil blog, teamed up with Club Monaco in 2012. He designed two bags for the label – a backpack and a messenger bag – which reflected his functional take on fashion. Then, as the marketing icing on the cake, he photographed a range of street style stars toting his creations. Needless to say the collection sold out in a matter of weeks.
