1. Chevron Print

Chevron print is big right now which is why it is one of the must haves for Spring 2014. You see chevron print in a lot of things from accessories to clothing items. One of the most popular ways to wear chevron right now is to wear it as a top or in a dress with that print. You can play it up with dressy accessories or dress down and wear a chevron top with jeans or a simple skirt. It goes well with many different shoe styles, too.

2. A Black and White Combo

Black and white is always popular in my book. You can’t go wrong with either color and pairing them together is a win-win. Expect to see a lot of different pieces in black and white this spring. You can go with black or white sandals when you wear this combo or even a nude wedge or heel. You will also see a lot of the next item mentioned paired with this look.

3. Bold, Bright Accessories

Bold bright accessories are something that are making a big debut in Spring of 2014. Expect to see chunky bracelets and earrings in shades of emerald, deep purple and bright pink. They pair really well with the black and white combo mentioned above. In fact, when I was searching for new looks, I often saw this look featured. It is also something you can reach for to dress up an ordinary everyday look and give it a bit of a punch.

4. Coral Anything

Coral was a color last spring and it is still here this spring. I am thrilled that coral is still a big deal. This color is almost universally flattering. You can wear it in so many different ways. It can be the main color of an outfit or worn for a pop of color in a small way such as a scarf or a pair of sandals.

5. A Denim Jacket

A denim jacket is a staple we should all have in our closets. They are so versatile and can be worn in so many different ways. You will be surprised how many times you find yourself reaching for it. It is great to wear on cool spring mornings to ward off the chill. It is also a great complement to a maxi dress or a tank top and skirt.

6. Statement Jewelry

Statement jewelry is something that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I have been a little late jumping on the statement jewelry trend but now that I have, I have found that I really like it. The good thing about statement jewelry is that it can take a very basic outfit to something really spectacular. You can add statement jewelry to a solid t shirt and you have got a standout look. Likewise, it also goes with something already dressy, to up the wow factor even more.

7. Wedge Heels

I have always been a lover of wedge heels so I was very happy to see they are in no short supply this spring. Wedge heels can pair with many things from skinny jeans to a sundress or a dress for a more formal occasion. They can be worn in the peep toe style, sling backs and others. The ones I am especially in the market for this spring are nude wedge heels. I love the versatile factor of being able to wear them with anything.
