1

Never Wash Your Jeans

You may have heard of this trick, since it is one of the most popular fashion hacks. Try to never wash your jeans because they’ll get stretched out. If they start to get gross or smell, put them in a Ziploc bag with a dryer sheet and leave them in the freezer. Once they thaw, they’ll seem clean and still fit perfectly! If you really must wash them, don’t dry them completely!

2

Deodorant Stains

Did you know that you can get deodorant stains out of pretty much anything? Just rub the fabric together! It even works on black clothing! Just keep in mind that you should never ever ever iron any material with a deodorant stain without getting it out first! The combination of chemical and heat interaction can ruin your beloved clothing item!

3

Go Wrinkle Free!

When I lived in a tiny dorm room, I had no space to iron my clothes. Instead, try using a hair dryer as a steamer to get wrinkles out. Another way to get small wrinkles out is with a hair straightener. Don’t leave the straightener in contact with your shirt for too long -- it might burn your top or worse: start a fire! If you have a larger clothing article that needs ironing, hang it outside the shower while running hot water. This usually steams creases out!

4

Keep Perfume Fresh

Who knew that keeping perfume in the refrigerator helps to keep it fresh?! I like to keep my Chanel perfume as fresh as possible, so I definitely do this. Another way to make sure you get the most out of your perfume is to apply moisturizer, either an unscented or the same scent, before you spray perfume.

5

Leather

When you have scratches on your leather purse, rub a bit of moisturizer into the scratch using a Q-tip. It’s like rubbing lotion into cracked skin. I use Nivea unscented moisturizer – it works like a charm!

6

Fur

I know it’s a bit early, but fur is going to be huge next fall! To keep yours from shedding, keep it in the freezer. Sure, you’ll probably need a larger freezer, but it’s worth the investment!

7

Leather Pants

Turning your leather pants inside out and storing them in the freezer helps them keep their shape. Another tip is to machine dry leather leggings on low heat to reduce stretching. Don’t forget to turn your leather pants inside out, though!

8

Cleaning Jewelry

Say bye bye to special jewelry cleaners and cloths! Ketchup cleans brass incredibly well. Fantastik shines gold and diamonds like no other!

9

Wet Suede

If your suede shoes get wet, stuff newspaper inside them. You can wrap them up in newspaper, too. This will help them keep their shape and texture as they dry out!

These are some of my absolute favorite fashion hacks! They come in handy and you never know when you will need them! Have you tried any of these tricks? What are some of your favorite fashion hacks?

@Neeceyberesford you rock girl and I ❤️this app!!

Sorry, but the tip about not washing your jeans is the most disgusting idea ever.

Haha freeze everything

I liked #8 cleaning jewelry. That's it. I don't have freezers large enough. lol

Never wash you jeans? No thank you!

I agree fur is not cool!!!!

Now I know what a fashion hack is lol...interesting ideas, but no way am I not washing jeans...I wash cold water gentle cycle and air dry. They may be a bit stiff, but once they are dry you can pop them in the dryer for a couple of minutes on low heat with a dryer sheet, and they come out fitting like you just took them off the rack...I wish I had a freezer big enough to store jeans and leather pants... If I did it would be filled with food

Fur being big? No. Wearing someone else's coat is definitely not big. Eew. Didn't like that about this article. However, I liked the hack re jeans. Never knew that!
