While not exactly a direct site you can purchase clothing from, this site is absolutely amazing for finding just about any piece or product. Search the keywords "white lace-trimmed tank top" and a ton of different stores that carry such an item will come up. Even the pickiest of shoppers are sure to find what they're looking for with Polyvore's detective skills. They also have a great fashion blog where they put together outfits, feature celebrity style, as well as beauty and home products too! Polyvore is sure to be your (stylish) new best friend.

For our vintage-loving readers, ModCloth offers era-specific (mid-century, grunge, etc.) pieces for every type of look imaginable. You can also search by color, occasion, and even decade (!) for amazingly easy shopping.
Online shopping is an absolute godsend. To be able to make a couple of clicks and have a new item be on its way is dangerously easy and so much easier than tackling a strip mall.
