I don't wear real leather but pleather is cooler especially lined with cotton. I've been wearing leather skirts all year since 2005, just make sure you have boy short undies and you'll be fine in the heat :)

I live in Florida that average temperature this summer has been 98 degrees. I can't even sit in the leather of my car

Not to sound annoying but this post is disgraceful...why encourage people to wear something that is dead? That is skin, not human but still skin.This is just sickening.

@claire you do know that she doesn't write faux leather she's encouraging people to wear real leather. Did you know that some of the leathers you buy could actually belong to dogs and cats? They all come through China and a lot of times they forge the tag and what's written is cow leather(which is as bad) while it is actually dog skin? I bet you really like leather now huh? And @olivia I was simply stating my opinion about why would someone encourage cruelty you could've ignored me but instead chose to attack me. I wasn't enforcing anyone to believe in what I believe.

Hmmm summer conjures up silk and cotton to me. Leather has never featured so I will leave leather for the winter.

Leather never goes out of style, unless you are a Vegan I suppose.
