Every girl needs some tips for finding the right sports bra. You have it all going on...the right gym shoes, the right playlist, the right leggings. But, you are missing the most important part! The right sports bra! It could mean the difference between a productive workout and a workout with aches and pains.
There are two types...encapsulation and compression. Encapsulation are the most favorable for performance and are ideal for large-breasted women. They have no form and smash the breasts inward to keep them in place. Compression bras are good for smaller breasts and low to moderate impact workouts.
Low impact would be walking, pilates/yoga and weight training.
Medium impact would be power walking and elliptical.
High impact would be running and Zumba.
Here are some tips for finding the right sports bra.
1. Jump up and down
Do 10 jumping jacks. When you stop jumping, so should the girls.
2. Watch for Peek-a-boobs
Make sure the bottom portion of your boobs don't slip out. There are racerbacks and the spaghetti straps, racerbacks being the most common. Spaghetti straps are for the most low-impact.
