1. Cranberry
Perhaps no other color signifies wintertime more than cranberry, making it one of the best winter colors for 2013. This burnt red color is beautiful in everything from pants to lipstick. Pick up an item in cranberry and pair it with a crisp white piece of clothing, or black, which makes another stylish pairing. Cranberry shoes are another huge fashion item right now, and I’m dying for a pair myself!
2. Emerald Green
Emerald green is another top winter color for 2013. I love emerald green, especially when worn as a dress, blouse or a scarf. It works well with any skin or hair tone, and matches many other colors. It makes a great color for a handbag as well.
3. Winter White
Winter white is almost completely white, yet has more of a cream tint to it and it has always been one of my favorite colors to wear when the weather chills.. Winter white looks classy, sophisticated and sexy at the same time. My favorite items to buy winter white in are pants, fluffy scarves, watches and handbags. They make for a great accessory to any outfit and bring winter right into your wardrobe.
4. Gold
I love gold! It is bright, exciting and it works well with any shade you pair it with. Gold earrings, gold scarves, and even gold heels are a gorgeous little accent piece to any winter outfit that you choose. Pick up one next time you go shopping, and start small. A little gold goes a long way!

5. Silver
Silver is another great winter color to add to your wardrobe, and I mean using it far beyond a pair of earrings. Some of my favorite ways are silver scarves, dressy blouses, and even eye shadow. Like gold, a little goes a long way, but can make a huge statement in your outfit, while still looking soft and exotic.

6. Camel
Camel, which is somewhat of a tan shade, is possibly my favorite go-to color outside of black. It makes for a great winter shade, whether you’re in the office, or out with friends. You can find camel slacks, blazers, shoes, handbags, scarves, and even watches and hats with this shade. I love using it with black, which makes for a really muted, yet exotic wardrobe combination that looks sleek and classy, no matter who wears it.
7. Plum
If you’re not fond of bright purple, try using plum this winter. It is so magical looking and really adds a special touch to outfits. I love plum shaded jackets, scarves, skirts, and sweaters, along with plum shades of eye shadow as well. Just a little accent here and there is a great way to add this winter shade to your wardrobe this year.
I hope if you’re getting tired of wearing the same thing each winter that you’ll give these new winter wardrobe shades a try. I love them and will be wearing plenty of them myself. What’s your favorite shade for winter 2013?
