I’m a huge fan of the draped neck sweater and this one has the perfect amount of drape. Too much and you’re into cowl neck territory. I see this as a very casual sweater and I think a pair of grey jeans would be a perfect pairing. I wouldn’t wear a necklace to compete with the neckline, so a pair of dangly earrings that aren’t too large would be perfect. Let the draping be the star!

This drape front sweater is so incredible looking that I want it in every color, and Bloomingdale’s agrees by offering it in this blue/black twist, along with oatmeal, light grey, heather brown, black & white twist, and solid black. This is an essential piece in your wardrobe and one that’s worth getting in a couple of colors.

5. Moto Cashmere Jacket by C by Bloomingdale's

What a cute little charcoal grey jacket! I love the nipped in waist and fold-over collar. Did you happen to notice the zip closure was asymmetrical? This also comes in black, midnight blue and heather. I’d prefer this with a camisole that was visible from the neckline, and probably with an inch or more showing on the bottom as well.

I want this right now! I can’t decide which is cuter; the front or the split back. I love the tiny pocket on the front, and the way this sweater drapes with such ease. It’s perfect with your favorite jeans. With so much interest in both the back and front, you’ll look awesome coming and going! Available at Nordstrom.

7. Studded Split Back High/Low Sweater by Caslon

While this studded sweater also comes in magenta, with auburn hair, I’ll opt for the black every time. It’s great with jeans and there’s enough detail on the front with the studs, to keep it from being boring. Because of the studs, I’d do minimal jewelry to keep the sweater the focal point. With so many choices , there should be enough to keep everybody happy. I love the shorter ones with a cute shirt underneath, and the longer ones look great with skinny jeans.
