1. Camel Coat
A knee length wool coat in a camel colourway is the epitome of winter chic, and one of the most classic winter fashions you can own. While ‘camel’ has been a buzz colour in recent years, it has been a popular choice for decades. A camel coloured coat is also quite versatile, as the neutral colour allows it to be worn with a range of different outfits.
2. Long-Sleeved Breton Top
Popularised by the ever-stylish Coco Chanel, the Breton top is a wardrobe must-have. This striped style of top is timeless. In the winter months, choose a long-sleeved style made from heavier fabric. For a classically feminine look, team a navy and white Breton top with black skinny jeans, ballet pumps, and a navy pea coat.

3. Knee-High Boots
When it comes to winter fashions, you’ve got to consider your footwear. Boots are a must in the winter, and knee-high styles are not only timeless but flattering to most leg shapes as well. Knee-high boots look great with tucked in jeans or opaque tights, making them an ideal choice of winter footwear. Black and tan pairs will go with most outfits.
4. Leather Jacket
The leather jacket is another worthy investment piece. There are a range of styles to choose from, but the biker style is my personal favourite. Each season designers will reinterpret the leather jacket, but sticking to a fairly basic cut will ensure that yours lasts year in and year out.
5. Knit Cardigan
Cardigans are great for transitional dressing. They’re also ideal for layering under heavy wool coats in the winter. Boyfriend-style knit cardigans are ideal for creating a casual off-duty look, whereas fitted ones are much more refined. Both of these styles of winter fashions, however, can be counted as wardrobe staples.

Channel the screen sirens of the past and team yours with a twin-set and pencil skirt, or go for a rock-chic vibe and wear it with skinny jeans and a leather jacket. These types of accessories are not online timeless but versatile.
7. Felt Fedora
Adding a felt fedora to your winter look will not only add extra style, but added warmth as well. We lose a lot of heat through our heads, and wearing a hat in winter will help keep the warmth in. The fedora is a classic style, and one in a neutral black colour will easily work with a range of different winter fashions.
8. Navy Pea Coat
The navy pea coat with gold or brass buttons is a classic winter fashion item. It’s perfect for wearing during the day. Choose one that hits mid-thigh and team it with anything and everything, from shift dresses to skinny jeans.
