7 Cozy Ways to Wear Cashmere ...

One of the most well-known ways to wear cashmere is, of course, the cashmere sweater. A soft vee neck sweater of cashmere wool worn over a crisp white button-up continues to be a chic, classic look. It's particularly ideal if you're going for timeless, slightly preppy fashion. However, these days you can also find an abundance of cashmere cardigans, capes, and shawls, in a riot of different colors, patterns, and designs. Take your pick!

Perfect for men and women alike, cashmere coats are absolutely divine. They tend to be on the more expensive end of the spectrum, but you get your money's worth because you're buying a quality piece of clothing. Cashmere coats tend to be tailored and crisp, taking the shape of pea coats or trench coats. For women, try pairing them with pencil skirts and knee-high boots or tailored trousers and heels. Either way, you'll be a stunner!

If you're looking to buy cashmere for yourself or someone else but don't want to spend a ton of money, turn your attention to your feet! In the winter, especially, nothing in the world beats a pair of cozy cashmere socks. They're generally a bit oversized, with a tendency to climb warmly up your calves. There's nothing cuter or comfier than wandering around the house in cashmere socks and your favorite night shirt.

Again, if you're looking for something small and affordable but still perfectly fabulous, get a scarf made of cashmere. Scarves are fashionable and functional, and in fact they make amazing accessories no matter what the weather. With the right wrap technique and a pretty pattern, you won't even need any jewelry, and if you get too warm, just try the chic vintage trick of tying your scarf around your purse straps!

Soft, fitted cashmere pants are absolutely lovely. Again, men can and often do wear cashmere pants, in addition to sweaters and coats. They're particular perfect when the weather is chilly, especially in darker, more dramatic shades. Of course, if you want to carry this look a bit further...

Then try a gorgeous cashmere suit! Suit jackets and trousers look amazing in this sumptuous wool, and there are all sorts of styles. Choose between solid colors or subtle designs, such as pinstripes or plaids. Women can choose between trousers or pencil skirts, but either way, this look will kill at the office!

Similarly, cashmere dresses and skirts are certifiably to die for. Again, darker colors work best, but as winter moves on toward spring, you might think about pastels or vibrant shades of green, pink, and blue as well. It all depends on your aesthetic, as does the silhouette. There are form fitted frocks that hug every curve and retro skirts and dresses with fabulous flares at the hem.
