1. Add Neon

Neon is such a big trend this summer that if you’re looking to spice things up in your wardrobe, adding some neon is the perfect way to do that. You don’t necessarily need to wear copious amounts of neon, but you could definitely add some splashes of the bright trend here and there in your outfit!

2. Pick a Style

Pick a summer style to carry with you as the summer goes by. Try nautical, bright prints, or just a beach vibe, and stick with it for the whole summer. By the end of the summer, you’ll be known as the [insert your own awesome style here] girl!

3. Or Just Completely Go Crazy

Or, if limiting yourself to one style isn’t really your thing, mix it up and go crazy with a different style every day. One day, dress like you’re going on a fancy boat trip, on another, dress like you’re going to Coachella. Changing it up just makes your wardrobe more fun!

4. Mix Prints

Mixing prints is a tricky game, but one of my summer style rules. It’s so much fun to take two completely different prints and make them look great together. If you’re looking to add some fun to your boring summer wardrobe, find two pieces with different prints and try to find a way to make them work together!

5. Add Tropical Touches

Summer is all about being tropical, so let that show through in your style this summer. Add some tropical touches, whether that means wearing a flamingo on your shirt or palm tree earrings. It doesn’t matter what it is, but those tropical touches will make you feel like you’re on a Caribbean island at all times!

6. Dress up a Bathing Suit

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean that you can walk around in a bathing suit at all hours of the day. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t dress up a bathing suit so that you can wear it at all hours of the day. Throw on a sarong or a tunic to completely change up your look and make your bathing suit look chic!

7. Don’t Be Afraid of Color

Summer is one of the biggest seasons for color, so if you’re not wearing color during the summer, what are you wearing? If there is any season that you wear color, it should be summer, so don’t be afraid to rock color, in any capacity, this summer!
