1. Keep Some Essentials at the Door

When you’re running late, or even just running out the door to avoid being late, the last thing you want to do is run around your house looking for all of your last-minute essentials. Keep everything by the door that you know you’ll need on your way out the door to save time and keep you looking put-together. For example, if there’s a jacket that you always throw over an outfit, keep it by the door rather than in your closet!

2. Have a BB Cream on Hand

While this is more a makeup tip, it’s just as important to your overall look as your style. If you often find yourself running out of time to do your makeup, keep a BB cream in your purse. When you get some extra time when you arrive at your location, or if you aren’t the person driving, you can use an all-in-one BB cream to hide everything you want to with nearly no effort!

3. Or Just Wear Red Lipstick to Make a Statement

If you don’t even have time to put BB cream on before you run out the door, go for red lipstick instead. It instantly adds a chic dimension to your look, pulls away focus from any blemishes you didn’t have time to cover up on your face, and adds a statement in almost no time at all!

4. Keep Your Wardrobe in the Same Color Palette

When you’re running out the door, it’s nearly impossible to think straight, let alone put a cute outfit together. If you keep most of your wardrobe in the same color palette, a lot of the thinking and guesswork comes out of styling your outfits, especially when you’re in a hurry.

5. Wear a Thick Headband to Hide Grease

Are you having one of those days where you don’t have time to wash your hair, but it looks greasy enough that you don’t feel comfortable showing it off? Spray in some dry shampoo, shake your hair a little bit, and then throw a thick headband on to hide the rest of your greasy hair. It adds some style and hides greasy hair! Who doesn’t love multifunctional pieces?

6. Front-Tie a Button down to Appear More Styled

If you’re wearing a button-down with a simple pair of pants and don’t really love the look or feel like it’s styled enough, try tying the button down in front to make it look like you put a lot of thought into your outfit, even if it was a last-minute decision as you were running out the door!

7. Keep Your Most Versatile Accessories at the Door

Everyone has those accessories that they can wear with nearly anything, whether it’s a hat, a necklace, a bracelet, or earrings. Whatever your favorite, versatile accessories are, keep them at the door for the days when you don’t have a lot of time and feel like your outfit needs a little something extra!
