While some of us look forward to wearing a little less in the warm weather, I actually look forward to saying hello to my coats come September and there are some wonderful winter coats to keep you cosy in the cold. With so many styles to choose from, we are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to wrapping up in the cold weather. Finding outerwear which keeps us warm and looking super stylish at the same time is something I look forward to when winter coat shopping, so here are some fabulous winter coats for your cold weather wardrobe.

1. Walk on the Wild Side

Walk on the Wild Side Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love leopard print, so I couldn't leave this one out as it's one of my favourite winter coats. A fabulous faux fur coat will keep you super warm in the winter and will look great for the day and night over your jeans or your little black number. This kind of classic print will see you through a few falls and winters and is an investment piece as it wont date. Kate Moss was photographed wearing one very similar to this so if it's good enough for Kate!

2. Duffle

This beige duffle is super cute and adds a little geek chic to your look this season. It's another classic style which you will be able to wear year after year and the check lining is perfect for this season too. Get one made from a bobble resistant wool-blend and it will look fresh and new for a few years to come.

3. The Grey

The Grey This grey down feather padded jacket is for when things get super cold and this one is certainly going to keep you warm. I particularly love the sheen to the fabric and the length of this one, which gives it a luxurious look. This is another style which won't date and will keep you warm this coming winter.

4. In the City

In the City A black high neck city coat is great for formal occasions and your commute to work. Try looking for one that features a belted waist and silver tone fastenings; it will make you look ultra chic whilst keeping you nice and cosy in the cold.

Discover the mystique and charm of historical garments with our carefully curated inspiration from the medieval era. If you're seeking authenticity for a theme party or costume event, here are some truly renaissance outfit ideas that will transport you back in time. Evoke the spirit of grand festivities with fashion that celebrates tradition and craftsmanship. Embrace a different period, dress up and have fun!

5. Cool Rider

Cool Rider Biker jackets are another fabulous fashion investment and are perfect for wearing day and night. Try a cropped one like this, or look for one made from a luxurious soft leather. Whatever leather coat you choose, it will be practical, versatile and super cool all at the same time.

6. Chic

Chic A longline biker jacket is so sophisticated and will ensure you'll be looking warm and stylish this fall. Team with skinny pants and boots for a chic look for both day and night.

7. Caped Crusader

Caped Crusader OK, so technically it's not a jacket or a coat, it's outerwear, but I love capes and couldn't resist including one here. A hooded cape like this has a touch of Little Red Riding Hood about it, and with Christmas fast approaching (or so the TV adverts and merchandise in the stores keep telling me), it's a garment which screams festive yet feminine and functional, all at the same time. So why not treat yourself (or ask someone else to treat you!)?

So whether you're oversizing your outerwear or going for a more tailored look, there are so many styles and fits to choose from online and on the high street. Which styles make you want to open another tab right now and go online shopping?
